Audi is preparing to revive the A4 legend again by changing the naming strategy it started last year to separate internal combustion and electric models.
Taking into account the feedback from customers, the brand will launch a new fully electric model called A4.
NEW PLATFORM AND RELEASE DATE
The new A4 developed will use the “Scalable Systems Platform” (SSP) architecture of the Volkswagen Cluster.
However, the launch of the platform was postponed due to software problems, pushing the release date of the new A4 to the end of 2027 or 2028.

TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS AND PERFORMANCE
It is expected that 800 Volt architecture will be used in the technical infrastructure of the vehicle and will come with a dual electric motor mechanism.
It is estimated that this system will produce power between 400 and 500 horsepower, and in the RS4 version, this power can go up to 700 horsepower.
It is planned that the design of the future model will be determined by the minimalist interior and exterior line details taken from the brand’s “Concept C” model.
The electric A4 will compete directly with the BMW 3 Series and Mercedes-Benz’s electric models when it comes to market, and will reportedly be offered at a price between 55 thousand – 65 thousand dollars.
