A year later, the Maextro became the best-selling vehicle in China with a price tag of over $100,000. It seems like Chinese people love everything made in China! According to Bloomberg, the Maextro S800 surpassed the total sales of the Porsche Panamera and BMW 7 Series in November. In September, it ranked first in luxury vehicle sales.

The S800 surpassed the Mercedes S-Class in sales, including the Maybach version. Maextro has received 18,000 orders for the S800 in just 175 days since its launch.

The company says it currently sells more than 2,000 vehicles per month and plans to increase production to 4,000 per month. Much of the S800’s appeal comes from its price. The price of the S800, which is a real business class car with a length of 5,480 mm, varies between 100,600 and 144,900 dollars.

By comparison, the BMW 7 Series starts at $130,000, the Porsche Panamera at $156,200 and the Mercedes S-Class at $208,800. The Rolls-Royce Phantom is worth more than 1 million dollars.

Maextro S800 has a 1.5-liter turbocharged fuel engine that extends the range of the electrical system. Its power range varies between 530 and 840 horsepower and it can travel up to 400 km on electricity alone.
