Russian First Deputy Prime Minister Denis Manturov made various evaluations about the country’s economy in his statement to Russian state channel Rossiya-24.
Stating that Russia is working hard on unmanned aerial vehicle production, Manturov said, “While localizing production, we are increasing the volume and responding to the needs of the Ministry of Defense. We will continue to work with all our developers in this field.”
Manturov also touched upon Russia’s foreign trade outlook and said, “The share of friendly countries in our foreign trade reached 80 percent today, while it was 60 percent in 2021. These countries include the Commonwealth of Independent States, the Middle East, Asia and Africa. This trend continues strongly and our companies are restructuring their routes and cooperation chains.”he said.
Manturov made evaluations about the car production facilities left behind after the withdrawal of Western car companies from Russia. “Production has started in 80 percent of these facilities and all facilities will be in production by next summer. These facilities are operated by both Russian and Southeast Asian partners.”gave his information.
Manturov also touched upon the Russian car industry, which has gone through a difficult period this year with the increase in political interest. “This year, new car sales decreased by 19 percent to 1 million 450 thousand”he said.
